Enceledus
The client wanted video for her track to show what it would look like to land a spacecraft on one of Saturn’s moons, Enceladus.
Not only was this moon covered in ice, so probably very cold, but there was no way to physically film it, because it was also over 1.2B km away.
Lucky then, that creating worlds is what we specialise in doing here at MVP!
Filmed during 2021’s level 4 lockdown, no expense was spent on the modelling. The moon was made from items found around the studio – flour and water made glue for paper mache, without any newspaper, toilet paper was substituted, and in lieu of a balloon for a mold, a condom made a good enough replacement!

After filming the model spinning in front of a green screen, it was indeed fixed in post, along with superimposing stars, and other graphics.
